So yes, There is a Minecraft server for cape radio people.
This is a short(long) guide for whats going on with it,



Access:
First off it's a White list server, so you have to contact me to have you added. PM's through the forums here are bets if you do not have other contact information for me.

Next add the IP address to minecraft:

96.8.119.103:25607

(hit Join, go play)

Currently the server is running 1.5.2


Nifty extra stuff:

So, the server now has a few plugins on it, the short of it is it adds a few changes to Minecraft, although you the players do not have to download anything extra for them.

For starters; PvP is disabled. so hitting other players will not do anything, (as a note anything mentioning PvP in plugins is overridden)

First off is Death Control.
Normally when you die your stuff and exp drop at the location, no more now you keep your stuff!
One note, If you die and disconnect or log off, the server only saves your gear for 30 min. so try to remember to re-spawn before that.

Commands!
Beyond the normal typing there are a few commands that can be entered in to the chat box that players can do.


/sethome Used to set your current location as a home point.
/home Teleports you to your home point. (Works cross-world)
/mw spawn Teleports you to the current worlds Spawn point.
/mw goto <world name> Teleports you to the spawn point of <World name>
/mw list Shows the names of Worlds

Wait, you may ask what this talk of worlds?
Yep there are multiple worlds now available, The main one used currently is 'World' although a 'World2' has appeared, Traver to the nether and end are also possible, at your own risk.

Finaly there is a Plugin called Supernatural

Its a bit complicated to explain but it adds a form of classes to the game.

Two changes to note. Ghouls do not take damage from water. even if it gives a message about it.
The 'Church' mentioned is in game. Head south from the main spawn point and you will see signs leading you to it.

2 things:
I'm trying to stop being a demon and have perished many times in icy water (Tagia terrain) holding snowballs (up to 64) still a demon, any other suggestions, or would it take an admin hammer? EDIT: I tried one more time after whining about it and am human again!

Also how do we access the world2? I've tried to search out multiple world travel but just get chat about multiple saved games.

This place is still a hoot!

For Travel to world2 once ont he server you should be ablt to type
/mw goto world2

And you should be transported. to return to the original just use /mw goto world

Dong a /MW list shows:
Loaded worlds:

world_the_end (loaded)

Edit: Transporting to all 3 loaded worlds works fine.

before people freak , minecraft updated, and as such if you have updated your client then you wont be able to log into the server till its updated.

give it a day or two because the server client (bucket) has to update first before this can be done

no this dose not men you will lose anything
and we do not know if any pluging will be affected by the update until we are in ourselves

The Server is now updated to 1.4.5

Bugs may exisit as this is not a 'Recommended' build for Bukkit. but it does not look like they are doing one anytime soon.
This also means plugins may not be working fully. I will try to keep an eye on things but am busy with Season.
