"The Unofficial Cape Stunty League" managed by Hebdomas (aka me) is now accepting applications through the Blood Bowl interface! I think I even set it up correctly!

This is just meant to be a fun silly filler between Cape Radio Cup seasons and everyone is invited, old players, new players, everyone. Prepare for casualties! If you're interested and don't already have it, you'll need Blood Bowl Chaos Edition see Steam. (Note: Legendary edition also works if you already have it. Chaos edition is the "most complete" version of the game.)

The Rules:

- All players must be "stunty" or "titchy" in the skill category.
This includes Star Players and players from other sources.

This means allowed teams/races are:
- Halflings
- Goblins
- Ogres (aka snotlings only)
- Underworld - Goblins only. (Goblins without special weapons, with more expensive re-rolls and goblin players might be limited to a max of 12 meaning you'd only have one extra substitute player.

- Teams will gain "points" based on performance as per the following;
Quote:
10 for a win, 5 for a draw, 1 for a loss. Bonus 1 point per CAS caused and TD scored.

(The same system Ranger used for the Cape Blood Bowl Cup)

- When you apply to the league you must post here or PM me with the following information: Coach name (your blood bowl multiplayer name), team/race, and team name.

(edit below)
Structure:
Each team with play each other team twice overall, they will play each team once then will play each team again.

Playoffs and Finals: The bottom two teams (as determined by points) will play each other, with the winner of that match going on to play the top team in the finals.

Current standings:
Kibblins (Mrwrk): 74 points 4 games
The Lunch Rush (me): 42 points 4 games
Celebrity Cheflings (Doomie): 33 points 5 games

Round 1 via RNG:
Kibblins (Mrwrk) 19 points vs. The Lunch Rush (hebdomas aka me) 3 points
Round 2
Kibblins (Mrwrk) 17 points vs. Celebrity Cheflings (Doomie) 6 points
Round 3
Celebrity Cheflings (Doomie) 14 points vs. The Lunch Rush (me) 4 points
Round 4
Kibblins (Mrwrk) 21 points vs. The Lunch Rush (hebdomas aka me) 9 points
Round 5 (RNG is repeating itself...)
Kibblins (Mrwrk) 17 points vs. Celebrity Cheflings (Doomie) 4 points
Round 6 (aka end of normal season!)
Celebrity Cheflings (Doomie) 2 points vs. The Lunch Rush (me) 17 points

Finals!
Game 1 (Deciding who gets to play Mrwrk in finals)
Celebrity Cheflings (Doomie) 7 points vs The Lunch Rush 9 points

Game 2 - Championship game!
Kibblins (Mrwrk) vs The Lunch Rush (me)

Kibblins (Mrwrk) have won the season! Congratulations!

You forget Underworld (Goblins only) or Lizardmen (Skinks only)?

Although Underworld would only be Goblins without the secret weapons.

And Lyla mentioned that the skinks would probably have an unfair advantage due to their ridiculous speed, and I kinda agree.

No Skinks because of their much higher movement allowance. And I forgot Underworld was even an in game option as I'm using Legendary Edition, I'll update the first post in case someone wants to do Goblin only Underworld, though the rulebook lists "Underworld Goblins" being 0-12 meaning you'd only get one spare player and your re-rolls would be more expensive.

Edit: Mrwrk, I don't see your team under league applications.

OK, I've never played any form of Blood Bowl before. Would this be a good place to start?

I would love to say yes, as I would love to see this take off. However....

Bloodbowl is subject to luck and skill. And regardless of the second, the first will always bite you in the butt at some point. But players without experience enough will be bitten a lot more than players who do. And in Stunty Leeg, that tends to be even more true. Lots of casualties and fumbles and stupidity of occurrences will abound.

Short answer: if you are the kind of player who can look at a disaster and laugh at it: maybe it'd be a place to start? Maybe? Probably not?

I am perfectly willing to play one-off games with anyone if you want to try it first. But before that, I'd recommend checking out some guides to learning to play first.

Update:

I'd prefer to start with more than 3 players (including myself), but regardless of numbers well start the end of March/ beginning of April.

I'm having a terrible time coming up with team names, everything I come up with is already taken. (Seems you have to have a unique team name out of all the made teams for any league.) Any ideas?

(I'd like more, but maybe each team plays each other twice, A semifinal between the lowest two teams, then a final between the winner of that and the first place team? That'd give a reasonable season, I think, plus a chance for revenge against anyone who done ya wrong early in the season.)

(Whoever plays first gets an advantage of points, but also the potential disadvantage of injuries for whoever starts late, so it balances a bit.)

I was actually thinking of something like that already.
