I have multiple ideas for themed shows that I would like to do, but here's the kicker: I'd like your input on them. When I have an idea, or a couple that I'd like to choose from, I'll post here and open discussion. Some of the things I'd like to play for you might not be as popular as I hope, so I'd like to know ahead of time if, for example, that Mannheim Steamroller / Fresh Aire show I'm pondering would, in fact, drive everyone away. I might even take some suggestions, so if you have an idea you think is interesting, let me know.

Multi theme show are cool, gives a nice mix of music genre for the masses. Just an idea or two, what say a themed show going back to roots of rocking-n-roll, old style blues, and maybe old country and blue grass type music. Then work up to present day stuff. I believe there were a few DJs in the past, here that did that where they would pick a time line, like say 1950's thru 1959's music on one show. The next show maybe do a 1960's and so on. Good thing is a bit of history to the music that brought us the music we hear today. Anyways I can brainstorm some other ideas that may help out.

Cheers,
Cora

For Winter Cafe on Sundays... I'd highly recommend Zero 7.

Climbing Up The Walls - Remix of Radiohead

Somersault feat. MF Doom

(If the rap is too much, the original track is much more chill than that.)

And if those two don't close the deal, Destiny.

So, yeah, Zero 7. And two of those songs have a singer most folks are familiar with.

Sia Furler. She sang for Zero 7 for their first three albums. :) This is her sound before she made it big.
